What is coaching and what does a coach do?
Coaching is a partnership designed to help you maximize your potential. I work with in one-on-one sessions by phone. As your coach, I’ll be your teammate, cheerleader and confidant. I’ll hold you accountable to goals that you set, and I’ll nudge you along to help keep you moving forward.
Together, we’ll uncover what’s working for you and what’s not. We’ll figure out the source of what’s stressing you and break through any blocks standing in your way. It’s all about getting you closer to get to where you *want* to be.
How do I know if coaching is for me?
Coaching is a good fit for you if you’re thinking:
I’m feeling really stressed and I want to have more time for myself. I know I need to prioritize, but I have no idea how to cut back or say no to new commitments. Where do I even begin?
My job is The Worst. I know that I don’t want to be here anymore, and it’s time for something new, but I have no idea what that is. How do I figure out what I want to do next? What would I enjoy doing?
My love life is a mess. My partner and I just aren’t on the same page. I’m not sure if I should stay or go, or if we share the same goals. How do I bring any of this up? Do I even know what I want?
I also encounter clients who feel off somehow, but aren’t sure where to start first, or don’t quite know how what’s really getting them down or making them anxious. That’s okay too! No matter what’s stressing you, we’ll work together to get you some clarity on what’s next.
Is coaching *really* for me?
*Everyone* can benefit from coaching. You’re here right now because you want to make a change, and I know that if you could do it alone, you would.
I understand that you might feel a little funny about hiring a coach. You might be questioning if you really need it, or maybe you feel like you shouldn’t spend money on yourself. Maybe you think the whole idea might be a little too woo woo for you.
Coaching gives you a partnership to help sort things out (and no, it’s not woo woo). Together, we’ll create a not-so-scary path to get you where you want to be. With more focus and less drama than if you were all on your own. It’s all about YOU. I’ll be here to listen, lend support and walk right alongside with you until you’re ready to skip along on your own.
How do I get started?
If you’re interested, send me an email to book your totally free discovery session to help give you a feel for coaching and address any questions that you may have. This brief call (30 minutes or so) is an opportunity to get to know each other a bit. We’ll see if there’s a good fit, and I’ll certainly let you know if I don’t think that I’m the right coach for you. You can ask me any questions you have about me, the coaching process and/or what to expect.
If you decide it’s a good fit for you, I’ll send you a client survey so that you can start organizing your thoughts, as well as an invoice for your coaching package. From there, we’ll schedule our first session and decide on our biweekly call schedule.
